Walla Walla Valley leaders reflected on 2025 successes in education, healthcare, business and government and set goals for new projects ahead.
They plan to secure permits for local developments + expand parks, schools and emergency services along with film industry outreach.
Just Us Girls Sharing began selling Pink Ball 2026 tickets on Jan.
1, priced from $80 to $900+; the event runs Mar. 7 at the County Fairgrounds Pavilion. Meanwhile, Underriner Honda donated a car via United Way and Columbia REA split a $750K grant among three local groups.
Scouts from Troops 305 and 336 will pick up Christmas trees on Jan.
10 and 11 in neighborhoods around Walla Walla and College Place — donations are accepted to fund summer camp, equipment and uniforms. Residents should remove decorations and place trees near the curb by 7 a.m. on Jan. 10.

Whitman College is hosting the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour on Jan.
28 at Cordiner Hall — doors open at 6:30 p.m. and films run from 7-10 p.m.; general admission is $17 with discounts for students, youth, and alumni.
