CRIME NEWS

  • Multiple individuals were arrested on warrants in various locations, highlighting law enforcement activity in the area.  Union-Bulletin
  • The Walla Walla County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals are searching for Reimundo Olivera Perez, a 59-year-old man wanted for child rape and molestation, believed to possibly be in Mexico or visiting family in California or Utah.  Union-Bulletin

  • Blueprint, an a cappella group, will offer singing Valentines in Walla Walla, College Place, and Milton-Freewater for $40, including a song, a red carnation, and a card, with orders due by Feb. 9.  Union-Bulletin

  • Richard Middleton-Kaplan will give a free talk on women peacebuilders in Africa and beyond at Gesa Power House Theatre on Jan. 22, highlighting their effectiveness and the underappreciation of their work.  Union-Bulletin

  • AT&T and the city of Walla Walla have mutually agreed to dismiss a lawsuit over a denied cell tower permit, with AT&T now planning to use an alternative tower location.  Union-Bulletin
