- ➤ Last Saturday, Jan. 24, Waitsburg Alumni President Deanna Tipton donated $1,000 to the Booster Club to support a school project aimed at boosting school spirit — a plan that will strengthen ties among students, families, and community members. The donation supports future pep rallies and local initiatives. Waitsburg Times
- ➤ The Wa-Hi National Honor Society at Walla Walla High School will hold a food drive through Friday, Feb. 6 at Wa-Hi (800 Abbott Road) with drop-off bins provided by Blue Mountain Action Council to honor community member Mary Kato. Union-Bulletin
- ➤ Waitsburg Commercial Club is asking the public to submit nominations for its annual Community Service Awards. Nominations are due by March 25 and the awards for Community Service, Business, Employee, and Youth will be presented at the club’s meeting and dinner on April 21 (details on location and tickets will be announced soon).
