- ➤ The American Association of University Women-Walla Walla will host its 61st annual book sale from Feb. 20 to Feb. 22 at Marcus Whitman Hotel (6 W. Rose St), offering about 40,000 books, DVDs, and collectibles while giving youths 14 and younger one free book from the picture or chapter book sections. Union-Bulletin

- ➤ The National Wildlife Refuge System and Friends of Mid-Columbia River Wildlife Refuges will host Winter Birds 2026 on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 9 a.m. to noon at 64 Maple St. in Burbank, featuring local photographer Walt Haerer’s photo presentation + guided tours to see bird banding up close.
