- ➤ AAUW-Walla Walla is accepting grant applications for its 2026 Community Project Grants from nonprofit leaders in Walla Walla County and Milton-Freewater+ Funding is available up to $5,000 to support projects advancing equity, education and opportunity; applications are due by 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 15. - ➤ Joe Drazan’s Bygone Walla Walla project shares archival images showing how jackrabbit drives affected crops in western Walla Walla County from the early 1900s to 1930. The nonprofit invites local residents to submit old snapshots — a call for preserving history — to add to the growing visual record. Union-Bulletin

- ➤ The Port of Walla Walla signed an agreement with Tri-Cities ports and the Northwest Seaport Alliance last Thursday, Feb. 5, at the Public Ports Association office in Olympia to create an Inland Logistics Hub that will ease transportation and boost jobs in warehousing and truck driving in southeast Washington.
