- ➤ Grammy-winning country artist Jelly Roll—fresh off his triple win at the 2026 Grammys—will perform Wednesday, July 22 at Wine Country Amphitheater in Walla Walla, marking an extra tour stop between Missoula and Edmonton. Union-Bulletin
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Whitman College staff and supporters rallied outside Cleveland Commons on Feb. 19 to request that the administration voluntarily recognize their new union—Whitman College Workers United. - ➤ Walla Walla Public Schools announced that Green Park Elementary principal Cesar Hernandez will step down at the end of the year to pursue other professional opportunities. The district will soon start a comprehensive search for his replacement. Union-Bulletin

- ➤ Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla has hired three new providers to expand patient care. The hires include Dr. Zaheer (internal medicine) for primary care, Moises Cordova (physician assistant) for general surgery support, and Felipe Cieza (physician assistant) for the Heart and Vascular Center.
