- ➤ Walla Walla Community College is planning cost cuts at its Clarkston campus to manage funding challenges and rising expenses. The college will hold a town hall on campus Friday, March 13 to explain the proposals. Union-Bulletin

- ➤ Joanna Cowles-Cleveland, newly hired as riparian coordinator for the Conservation District, helps local landowners apply for grants to improve stream health and install native-plant buffers in areas including Yellowhawk Creek.
