- ➤ The Rees & Sumach Community Garden is now accepting applications for 30 plots and shared areas to grow produce at the intersection of Sumach Street and Rees Avenue, sponsored by the North Main Area Neighborhood Association & Walla Walla 2020. Union-Bulletin

- ➤ American Cruise Lines is finalizing a 20-year lease for the underused Burbank High Dock near the Columbia & Snake rivers to build a new cruise hub that will offer guest excursions to local wineries. The upgraded dock will welcome passengers in 2027. Union-Bulletin

- ➤ WA Poet Laureate Derek Sheffield will lead a free reading and Q&A session on Wednesday, April 8 at Gesa Power House Theatre at 111 N. Sixth Ave + seating is limited so community members should reserve their spots. Union-Bulletin
- ➤ The Liberty is showing the PG-13 film EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert today through Mar. 24 with restored footage and live sound. It will also host the TVAC Variety Show Hello, My Name Is... on Apr. 17-22 with local talent, and tickets go on sale Monday, Mar. 23. Waitsburg Times
- ➤ Kirkman House Museum will reopen on Saturday, March 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in downtown and feature the special exhibit ‘From Utility to Fashion: Aprons, 1870 to 1970’—open through May 10; admission fees apply with free entry for children under seven, NARM cardholders and U.S. military veterans. - ➤ Walla Walla County Master Gardener plant clinics will start on April 7 at the Washington State University Extension Office, offering sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. to help local gardeners learn to grow healthy, resilient landscapes.
