The Blue Mountain Community Foundation is now accepting grant applications from nonprofit groups in Walla Walla, Columbia and Umatilla counties.

The foundation offers three programs—Warren Community Action Fund with a March 29 deadline, Dayton/Columbia County Fund with an April 15 deadline and Shindig Grants with an April 28 deadline—to support local projects in health, education and youth activities.

Three finalists for the next superintendent of Walla Walla Public Schools have been selected, including Ben Gauyan, Patricia Rodriguez, and Mark Wenzel.

The public is invited to meet the finalists on March 27.
