- ➤ At a March 25 meeting, WWCC trustees considered two cost-cutting options to tackle a $4.3M shortfall, closing the Clarkston campus or keeping only Nursing there, and must decide by April 15; both could lead to 30 main campus layoffs (staff have expressed concern over service impacts). GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Todd Stubblefield resigned from his College Place School Board District 3 role after more than 12 years of service and will serve as a substitute bus driver. The board will post an application after spring break to fill the position through November 2027. Union-Bulletin
