- ➤ Students seeking an associate degree, certificate, or apprenticeship can apply for the Career and Technical Scholarship offered by Washington State Opportunity Scholarship, which awards $1,500 per academic quarter and automatically considers applicants for the Rural Jobs Initiative that provides up to $8,000 to rural students—applications must be submitted by 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 15.
