- ➤ Walla Walla will resume operation of Veterans Memorial Golf Course in 2026 after almost 30 years of private management by W3 Entertainment. Parks and Recreation Director Andy Coleman said the city repaired 28 leaks before a March 24 meeting — and a consultant will inspect the irrigation system in May to plan future improvements — as it prepares to enhance the golf and event experience.
