- ➤ The Walla Walla Community College Board voted Thursday, Apr. 9 to close the Clarkston campus in 2028 due to a $4.3 million funding gap from state funding changes and rising costs. Current students will complete their programs through June while layoffs will occur at both campuses. Union-Bulletin
