- ➤ John A. Chlipala, 59, credits Adult Recovery Court—commonly known as drug court—for saving his life by providing strict treatment and support that helped him overcome meth addiction and avoid further criminal charges. He graduated from the program in 2023 and now urges others to get help from drug court and Narcotics Anonymous to break the cycle of addiction. Union-Bulletin

- ➤ Walla Walla University will stage Shakespeare's farce The Merry Wives of Windsor in May at Village Hall with showtimes at 9 p.m. on May 10 and 17 and 7 p.m. on May 11, 15 and 18.
