- ➤ Walla Walla Public Schools is planning a long-term strategy to improve student experience and resource allocation as it adapts to a loss of around 100 students a year. Superintendent Dr. Ben Gauyan said the district has increased outreach efforts with staff and the community this school year. Apple Valley News Now
- ➤ Whitman College graduates its first Šináata scholars, Lindsey Pasena-Littlesky and Aiden Wolf, who received a full-cost scholarship for Indigenous students (named for seeking knowledge) offered in partnership with CTUIR. Wolf will join a BIA fire crew while Pasena-Littlesky will apply to law school, continuing to serve their cultures and community. Union-Bulletin
