- ➤ Families gathered at Veterans Memorial Golf Course on Friday, May 22, to celebrate summer with mini golf, food trucks + a movie while enjoying improvements such as a renovated clubhouse, new online tee time system, and enhanced fairways. The course remains the only affordable public venue for family recreation. Union-Bulletin
- ➤ Walla Walla Valley Transit will host its second annual Mobility University on Thursday, June 4 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Transit Center, 108 W. Main St, where attendees learn to navigate the bus system, bike racks, and wheelchair securement — with free pizza and face painting. Union-Bulletin

- ➤ The sixth Walla Walla Pride festival will be held Saturday, June 6, from noon to 5 p.m. at Heritage Square Park—featuring live performances, speakers, local vendors and community booths—while an after-party at Marcus Whitman Hotel will celebrate from 7 to 11 p.m. Union-Bulletin
