Kay Raddatz, sorting donated books for the local scholarship fundraiser, found an eight-decade-old letter written by Marine Corps Pvt.

John ‘Jack’ Hogben and used genealogy websites and local contacts—she returned the letter and memorabilia to Bruce Kron, a living relative of Hogben’s family.
