Walla Walla Public Schools plan to cut $7-million in expenses over four years to balance their budget.
Fiscal Services Director Janette Jeffris said the district will start with a $2.5-million reduction in 2027-2028, with additional cuts planned later.

On Monday, July 27, Hayden Homes paid $1.6 million in restitution to local homeowners who were charged illegal fees, and the company will stop these charges + continue its Give As You Go Campaign to support local nonprofits.
