Walla Walla Summer Theater is preparing to stage Little Shop of Horrors from August 7—17 with a dark, doo-wop-infused score and interactive surprises.
Executive Artistic Director Tyson Kaup said the production will use detailed sets and innovative puppetry to bring the story to life for local audiences.

College Place Mayor Norma Hernandez earned a municipal leadership certificate from the Association of Washington Cities after completing more than 30 hours of training in legal matters, budgeting, land use, community safety, and local leadership.
She will use her new skills as she prepares for her unopposed 2025 re-election — the program is meant to enhance her effectiveness on the job.
