The Chamber is starting a Community Concierge volunteer program and hosting several events to build local connections—these include a Chamber After Hours with the Library on Aug.

26, a policy session at the Regional Airport on Aug. 12, and a Speed Connecting event at the Marcus Whitman Hotel on Oct. 7. Local business owners and residents can join the free activities to help shape Walla Walla’s future.

The Blue Mountain Community Foundation is accepting applications for its 2025 community grant program for eligible nonprofits and churches in Walla Walla, Columbia, Garfield and Umatilla counties — selected applicants will receive a grant of $20,000 to support projects while applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 29.
