The College Place School Board will review bids for a new field house (costing $2.5 million) at a special meeting on Aug.

Officials working on the Walla Walla Water 2050 Plan say improved state and tribal collaboration will help address long-standing water shortages in the basin that have left the river low and impacted salmon populations.
Oregon allocated $2.5 million for projects aimed at restoring streamflows and supporting treaty rights—and Washington will match nearly $2.4 million to fund key initiatives.
