The Paradise Fire has grown to 9,466 acres with 15% containment and prompted Level 2 evacuations on Paradise Ridge and along Mill Creek (including Biscuit Ridge Road).
Fire crews continue to work on the perimeter as conditions evolve.
Firefighters said the Hagen Fire in the Umatilla National Forest reached 45 percent containment and prompted reduced evacuation orders, while the Paradise Fire near Mill Creek Watershed remained 15 percent contained as dry, gusty weather prevented controlled burns (Aug.
29 to 31).
