CRIME NEWS

  • Former Columbia County prosecutor Dale Slack resigned on Sept. 1 due to health concerns and is under investigation for cyber harassment, attempted first-degree cyber trespass and alleged complicity in possession of stolen property after a search of his home and office on Aug. 29—no charges have yet been filed.  Union-Bulletin

  • Fort Walla Walla Museum will offer free admission on Oct. 25 to mark 150 years since Dorsey Baker completed the Rawhide Railroad—inviting the first 1,000 visitors to get food truck vouchers and view a newly enhanced Blue Mountain Locomotive exhibit.  Apple Valley News Now
