Gesa Power House Theatre in Walla Walla finished its planned summer renovations—installing a new weatherproof outdoor platform for wheelchair access—and will fully reopen this fall with shows like Holly Dolly: Uncorked Cabaret.

KoosKooskie Commons in Walla Walla received $7,200 for its Every Drop Counts conservation program tracking water quality for salmon spawning in the Mill Creek Watershed (a grant from Wildhorse Foundation announced in August).

About 600 cowboys and cowgirls joined the three-day Fair and Frontier Days rodeo at the fairgrounds on Friday, Sept.
4. Friday's theme raised $55,000 for Providence St. Mary Regional Cancer Center and Saturday honored first responders — the rodeo wraps today.
