  • During September, the inaugural Tour D’ Farm brought hundreds of visitors to Walla Walla's farms, vineyards, orchards and ranches—showcasing the Valley’s rich agricultural heritage. The Chamber plans to expand the event next year and is building volunteer teams to support new community programs.  Union-Bulletin

BUSINESS NEWS

  • The Witlof is a new restaurant on Main Street owned by Edward and Claire Shoemaker who brought their Basque and Korean food ideas from West Richland to Walla Walla. They spent three months preparing the space—installing new kitchen equipment and regrouting tile—while planning weekend brunch and local art to brighten the dining rooms.  Union-Bulletin

HEALTH NEWS

  • A local senior fitness class is offering sessions where older adults practice balance exercises—such as walking a simulated tight rope with added weights—to build strength and confidence. The workouts help participants improve mobility while teaching valuable lessons in humility.  Union-Bulletin
