Birch St. that spans 18,000 square feet and offers living units, a kitchen, and community spaces for men in need — it was funded by local grants and city support including cash contributions and fee waivers. The shelter replaces an old basement facility and marks a new chapter in the Center’s long-time effort to provide lasting hope for those in need.
Mirror Ministries will hold its annual Candyland Run on November 1 at Candy Mountain to raise funds for child protection programs.
Runners can choose from three routes and a new ruck challenge is available—volunteers in costumes will guide participants with candy-themed stops that teach children how to spot bad behavior.
