- ➤ The Kiwanis Club of Walla Walla, led by Barb Casey, is hosting its sixth annual sock drive through Nov. 17 and donors can drop off clean socks for adults and children at Bowlaway Lanes, YMCA, and Grocery Outlet—socks will support groups like the Walla Walla Sleep Center, YMCA, and YWCA. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Community volunteers and College Place School District staff launched the new College Place High School Scholarship Fund at Blue Mountain Community Foundation to help graduating seniors pursue college and vocational training. The fund currently holds $3,100 and will grow through partnerships with the city and local businesses + a presence at school sporting events. Union-Bulletin
