At a meeting on Oct. 23, district officials and Sen. Perry Dozier said the Prescott School District has too little time to raise an extra $1 million needed to stop the school from being dissolved.
The district has cut its budget and plans to seek funding through a levy and fundraisers, but officials say the state review process requires more time—community support remains strong.
