Three finalists for the YWCA Walla Walla executive director post will meet the public in town hall-style sessions starting Tuesday, Nov 18.
The board aims to choose a successor by early 2026—after careful review of applications—and honor over 100 years of service.
The Chamber of Commerce said nominations for Community Excellence Awards are open until Monday, November 17 (nominations honor local leaders).
It added that Taste of WWV was a hit with guests from eight restaurants and two wineries (visitors enjoyed varied choices) and will return next year.

The Wreaths Across America Walla Walla chapter is asking for donations and volunteers for Wreaths Day on Dec.
13 to honor veterans at local cemeteries—Fort Walla Walla Post Cemetery, Blue Mountain Memorial Garden and Mountain View Cemetery. Pine Cone Creamery announced on social media that its Thanksgiving Dinner Ice Cream Pie is available in the grab-and-go freezer and that custom orders must be placed at least five days in advance.
