- ➤ The Chamber of Commerce said nominations for Community Excellence Awards are open until Monday, November 17 (nominations honor local leaders). - ➤ The Wreaths Across America Walla Walla chapter is asking for donations and volunteers for Wreaths Day on Dec. 13 to honor veterans at local cemeteries—Fort Walla Walla Post Cemetery, Blue Mountain Memorial Garden and Mountain View Cemetery. Pine Cone Creamery announced on social media that its Thanksgiving Dinner Ice Cream Pie is available in the grab-and-go freezer and that custom orders must be placed at least five days in advance.
