- ➤ Echolands Winery will start double feature movie nights on Friday, Nov. 21 with 'Jaws' and 'Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark', Whiskey Creek Band will perform live on Saturday, Nov. 22 at T-Post Tavern from 9 p.m. to midnight, and Seedhouse Saloon will hold a chili cook-off on the same day at 5 p.m. at 24 Touchet Gardena Road—participants can enter by phone or in person. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ After voters rejected a tax levy meant to fund a new pool, Waitsburg Parks & Rec supporters plan more community engagement to boost transparency and prepare for future grant applications. They are now considering applying for small grants to move the project forward at the site near the old pool, which closed in 2020. Union-Bulletin
- ➤ A Skagit County judge ruled that Flock Safety camera images and data are public records, causing several Washington cities to pause their license-plate readers — a decision that spurred a Walla Walla tattoo artist to request records from about 50 agencies to expose privacy and fiscal concerns.
