Innovia Foundation has opened its 2026 Community Grants Program accepting nonprofit applications from Eastern Washington & North Idaho.

It supports projects in arts, economic opportunity, education, health and quality of life and offers a $1,000 early-bird grant drawing if applied by Jan. 9, with a final deadline of Feb. 6.

Walla Walla High School students in Peggy Payne's plant biology class use a $10,000 grant to power an aeroponic system that grows vegetables for school lunches — their first harvest on Dec.
