- ➤ Strong winds on Dec. 17 knocked down several utility poles and left about 1,100 residents without power, though crews had restored service for most by 2 p.m. — officials urged residents to keep clear of downed lines. Union-Bulletin
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Comprehensive Healthcare in Walla Walla was chosen as one of 10 pilot sites in a statewide behavioral health program to improve access to psychiatric evaluations and same-day services. The pilot will add Just In Time Prescriber Scheduling + boost client support, with changes starting in March 2026. Union-Bulletin
