This weekend, Walla Walla offers a full schedule of community events including a Girls’ Night Out, an annual book sale, a wine and dine fundraiser for Little League, a Seed Swap, and Bingo for shelter pets.

Boardman Fire Rescue District received a $30,000 grant from the Wildhorse Foundation on Feb.

17 to build a permanent helipad at its fire station, replacing a soccer field that becomes unusable in winter. The new helipad will boost rapid medical evacuations + support emergency response in all conditions.

Governor Bob Ferguson has proposed a sales tax holiday and expanded Working Families Tax Credits if the millionaires' tax passes, which could return $141 million to families and ease the B & O tax for 170,000 small businesses by waiving part of the tax on revenue up to $2.5 million.
