Guardian Cellars owners Jerry Riener and Jennifer Sullivan announced that the four-year tasting room (202 E.
Main St.) will close on (Saturday, Aug. 16) due to a drop in sales and the upcoming end of the lease. They said customers who miss this location can visit the winery’s other tasting rooms or join the wine club for its drink selection.
Residents at Rancho Villa on Dalles Military Road saw relief when their renewed leases had a lot rent increase capped at 5% under the new state law—preventing a jump from $465 to $600.
