Wheeling Walla Walla Weekend will take place on Sept.
5-6 as residents get ready to see a car parade on Friday evening that starts at 6 p.m. at the County Fairgrounds with a new route along Bryant Avenue due to construction, while Saturday brings a car show of over 500 vehicles on Main Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and an awards ceremony at 3 p.m. along with a Downtown Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Get Some Bagels opened at the Showroom on Colville with fresh handmade bagels, schmears, and coffee during its soft opening on Aug.
21-23, reflecting owner Tom Glase’s long-held passion for local food. He will expand the menu with bagel sandwiches and soups and secure a liquor license soon—aiming to offer more local choices.
