About this event

Elizabeth MacDonald is the Heliophysics Division Lead for citizen science at NASA Goddard, where she works avidly to establish opportunities for the public to contribute to heliophysical research. Below is a description of her talk. All are welcome to attend!

"Physics is about asking why Dr. MacDonald’s journey has taken her from growing up in Walla Walla to an unexpected career in heliophysics at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Now working for NASA from Walla Walla, she will share how that journey led from the laboratory to the aurora, and from studying particles to empowering authentic scientific contributions from people around the world."
